Six Names Who Could Be The Next Leader of WWE’s Judgment Day

WWE’s Judgment Day has undergone significant changes since Edge first led the faction in 2022. Today, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan sit atop the stable, but with the landscape of Raw continuing to shift, questions are swirling about who might eventually take the reins.

Among the current membership, JD McDonagh stands out as one of the most likely candidates. With Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley all having been excommunicated from the group over time, McDonagh is now the second-longest-tenured member behind Dominik Mysterio himself. Should “Dirty Dom” ever depart, McDonagh would have a clear path to the top.

Roxanne Perez, the youngest member of the faction, represents a longer-term possibility. Recruited to the group by Balor shortly after her main roster call-up earlier this year, “The Prodigy” quickly became one of Raw’s most featured talents and a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. Her trajectory within the stable makes her a credible future leader down the line.

On the outside looking in, Stephanie Vaquer presents a more dramatic scenario. After Liv Morgan retained the WWE Women’s World Championship against her at WrestleMania 42, Vaquer was attacked by Morgan and The Judgment Day on the April 27 edition of Raw, suffering a shoulder injury that has kept her sidelined since. That kind of bad blood has the makings of a slow-burn infiltration story, with Vaquer potentially joining and dismantling the faction from within.

Other names in the conversation include Ilja Dragunov, who has struggled to find consistent SmackDown television time since losing the United States Championship late last year; Kiana James, currently adrift after turning on Giulia following a Queen of the Ring qualifying loss; and Chad Gable, whose ongoing apology tour took an interesting turn when Dominik Mysterio confronted him demanding his own apology — a thread that could pull Gable into the faction’s orbit.

With the group remaining one of WWE’s most prominent stables, the next chapter of Judgment Day’s leadership story looks to be one of the more compelling long-term threads on the red brand.
