AEW Talent Joins Supergirl Star Milly Alcock for Multi-Platform DC Movie Promotion

AEW and DC Studios have joined forces for a wide-ranging promotional campaign tied to the upcoming Supergirl film, with several AEW talents appearing alongside the movie’s lead actress, Milly Alcock, as part of the push.

The collaboration goes well beyond a single appearance or social media post. According to available details, the partnership spans television, social media activations, and red-carpet events — making it one of the more ambitious crossover efforts the wrestling company has undertaken with a major Hollywood studio. Fans have also been given opportunities to interact with the AEW names involved as part of the broader campaign.

Alcock, who plays the title role in the DC Studios project, served as the centerpiece of the promotion, with AEW’s involvement designed to reach the company’s built-in audience of passionate fans. The pairing makes a certain kind of sense: both wrestling and superhero properties draw heavily from genre-enthusiast communities, and blending the two offers each side access to the other’s fanbase.

AEW has pursued mainstream entertainment crossovers before, but the scope of this Supergirl campaign — hitting multiple platforms and live events simultaneously — suggests a more deliberate effort to expand the brand’s cultural footprint heading into a high-profile film release.

With Supergirl set to arrive in theaters, the timing of this rollout positions AEW as a visible part of one of the summer’s bigger DC moments, giving both the promotion and the film an unconventional but eye-catching marketing boost.
