In what may be further indication to his future, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has made some interesting changes to his Twitter profile.
The Scot has blacked out his profile image and banner, as well as removing all WWE references in his bio.
There has been wide speculation on McIntyre’s future with WWE, with reports indicating his WWE contract expires this year with the most recent report stating the two parties are ‘far apart’ on a new deal. Fans have stirred the speculation with some suggesting he may be on the verge of signing with All Elite Wrestling and possibly debuting at the company’s UK debut at Wembley in August.
The social media move will continue to drive speculation on McIntyre’s immediate future with it not being clear if the move is due to a genuine reason to hint his displeasure with his current status, or if even it may be the result of an upcoming storyline.
It’s worth noting that McIntyre’s Twitter handle remains @DMcIntyreWWE, as well as his other social media handles remaining unchanged.
