The veteran shared her thoughts on the hard-hitting matchup in a post-match exclusive interview with Impact Wrestling. Mickie James thanked Jordynne Grace for bringing out the best in her, noting that “The last Rodeo” was officially behind her after the huge title win.
For those wondering, Mickie James had announced a retirement tour on the September 1, 2022, edition of Impact. Mickie had promised to retire if she lost her next match. She would continue to rack up wins after wins leading up to the Rebellion confrontation against Jordynne Grace. The champion is expected to put her title on the line against new number one contender Masha Slamovich at a future date.
